Palazzo Te ticket also allows admission to the MACA Museum and the Tempio Leon Battista Alberti, is valid for one admission to each venue within and can be acquired at both the Palazzo Te and MACA Museum ticket offices.

No food or drink may be consumed inside the rooms. Smoking is also forbidden in the entire Palace area, including the gardens.

Access with animals: Leashed animals are not allowed, with the exception of guide dogs for visitors with visual impairments. It is however possible to enter the halls with small animals if they are carried in their own carriers.

Special €6 ticket reserved for students, staff and faculty members of Bocconi University for unlimited 12-month access to Palazzo Te, MACA of Palazzo San Sebastiano and Leon Battista Alberti Temple and the temporary exhibitions included.

Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office on presentation of a valid Bocconi University ID card.

Groups of more than 15 visitors are entitled to a discounted admission rate and advance booking is required.
For those who need an electronic invoice, fiscal and billing details can be entered directly into the booking system.

The school booking procedure is designed to meet the administrative requirements of school offices. The booking process is described at this link.
It is recommended that registration and booking be completed directly by the school administration offices, in order to ensure the correct completion of the invoicing and purchase process.

Admission is free for children up to 11 years of age.
For visitors aged 12 to 18 and for university students, the special reduced ticket price is €7.

The maximum number of students per group is 25.

Audio guide

Audio guides are available for €5 in Italian, English, French, German, Spanish and Japanese and are free of charge for blind and visually impaired visitors.

The library service is free.

The home loan is individual and is obtained by providing the library staff with a valid identity document. The registration card that is issued can also be used at the Teresiana Library and the Baratta Library and must be kept and presented when requested.

Citizens resident or domiciled in the Province of Mantua and students enrolled at the University of Mantua are eligible for loans.

The loan has a duration of 30 days, with the possibility, also upon telephone request, of renewal for 15 days, if the book has not been booked by others in the meantime. A maximum of 10 volumes can be borrowed at the same time and must be returned without being underlined or damaged in any way.

Periodicals, repertoires and some other works are excluded from the loan.

The library can provide an interlibrary loan service. It is possible to carry out bibliographic searches online by consulting the OPAC of the Municipal Library of Mantua.

Spazio Te is a place of refreshment and lightness, a bar, a library, a place for conversation that allows citizens and visitors to stop, read and learn more.

A space dedicated to concerts, exhibitions, performances, dance, shows, cultural meetings, an open relationship with the city, the exchange of ideas, the birth of projects, listening, where creativity, study and artistic production are legitimized.

Weddings

The Municipality of Mantua has included Palazzo Te among the places where it is possible to celebrate civil weddings. In particular, the spouses have the possibility to choose between the Hall of Horses, the Chamber of Cupid and Psyche and the Loggia of David.

You can book the Dog Sitter service by sending an email to info@bauadvisor.it with the address, date/time and duration of the service, characteristics and number of dogs. MACA Mantua Ancient Collections and Tempio Leon Battista Alberti
Located on the road axis connecting Palazzo Ducale to Palazzo Te, the new MACA and Leon Battista Alberti Temple museum complex presents an exhibition itinerary dedicated to four central personalities in Mantua’s identity: Francesco II, Vespasiano Gonzaga, Giuseppe Acerbi and Ugo Sissa, and the Temple, which is the first building constructed in Mantua by the architect.
